Quantum primarily provides its Services to businesses and professional users. Accordingly, the information we collect generally relates to individuals acting in a business capacity (such as employees, consultants, or representatives of our customers, partners, or vendors).

(b) information collected automatically, and

A. Information You Provide


When you create an account, subscribe, or interact with Quantum, you may provide:

  • Account Information – name, email, phone number, company name, and login credentials.

  • Billing Information – payment data processed securely by Stripe or Apple Pay (Quantum never stores full card numbers).

  • Communications – emails, chats, or calls with our customer support or account teams.

  • Hardware Identifiers – serial numbers or device IDs associated with Quantum hardware.

  • Feedback and Marketing Data – survey responses, testimonials, or reviews you voluntarily provide.

B. Information Collected Automatically


When you use our website or Services, we automatically collect:

  • Usage Data – IP address, device type, browser, operating system, referral URLs, pages viewed, time on site, and interaction patterns.

  • Cookies and Pixels – Quantum and partners (Google, Google AI, Meta, LinkedIn, OpenAI, Apple, and others) use cookies, tags, and pixels for analytics, personalization, and advertising measurement.

  • Session and Video Analytics – tools such as Mediapose and PostHog may record anonymized session replays, click maps, scroll depth, and video engagement data to understand user behavior and improve usability.

  • Telemetry and Performance Data – device-level and sensor data from Quantum hardware collected for diagnostics, system optimization, and product improvement.

  • Quality Assurance Tracking – Quantum monitors customer usage within the Software to evaluate feature adoption, reliability, and service quality. This helps us identify bugs, optimize functionality, and improve user experience.

  • Movement and Sensor Data – Quantum collects anonymized or pseudonymized movement and motion-related data from sensors and devices (“Movement Data”). This data may include motion capture, accelerometer, gyroscope, or other biomechanical readings that describe movement patterns. Movement Data is collected to provide analytics, improve movement insights, and enhance the functionality of the Services.

C. Information from Third Parties


We may also receive limited information from:

  • Business partners and resellers.

  • CRM and marketing systems such as HubSpot, used for account management and marketing communications.

  • Analytics, hosting, and payment providers (e.g., AWS, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Play Store, Stripe, Apple Pay, PostHog).

  • Public sources and social-media platforms when you engage with Quantum content or ads.

Quantum accesses customer information solely to operate, support, and improve the Services. We do not use identifiable customer data for resale, third-party advertising, or unrelated marketing. Quantum uses movement and sensor data to analyze motion patterns, improve algorithmic accuracy, and deliver better performance analytics to practitioners and users.

 

F. Lawful Bases for Processing (EEA/UK Users)

 

For individuals located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) or the United Kingdom (“UK”), Quantum processes Personal Data under one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance – to provide the Services you request and fulfill our contractual obligations.

  • Legitimate interests – to improve our Services, maintain security, communicate with you, and conduct analytics.

  • Legal obligation – to comply with applicable laws, tax, or accounting requirements.

We share data only with trusted Processors and Service Providers, each bound by strict contractual and security obligations:

A. Automated Decision-Making and AI.
Quantum may use artificial-intelligence and machine-learning technologies (including Google AI and OpenAI APIs) to enhance Services such as recommendations, analytics, and customer support.

3. Aggregated and Anonymized Data


Quantum may collect and use aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data derived from your use of the Services for:

  • Analytics, benchmarking, and research;

  • Product enhancement and quality assurance; and

  • Development and training of machine-learning and AI models (including large-language models).


Such data cannot reasonably identify any individual or customer and is owned exclusively by Quantum. For certain Services, Quantum may process anonymized Movement Data to develop performance metrics, improve product accuracy, or train AI models. Such data does not identify any individual user and cannot be re-linked to specific accounts.

 

4. Data Retention


We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide and improve the Services;

  • Fulfill legal, accounting, or tax requirements; or

  • Resolve disputes and enforce rights.

When no longer needed, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

5. Security


Quantum implements administrative, technical, and physical safeguards—including encryption, least-privilege access, and continuous monitoring—to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. While no system is completely secure, Quantum continually evaluates and enhances its controls.

 

6. International Data Transfers


Quantum is headquartered in the United States. If you access our Services from outside the U.S., your data may be processed in the U.S. or other countries that may not provide the same level of protection. Quantum relies on lawful transfer mechanisms, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

Quantum retains cookie and pixel data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. Most analytics cookies expire within 12–24 months, and advertising cookies or pixels may persist for up to 13 months, consistent with applicable privacy laws. The Quantum Movement platform, sensors, and analytics tools are designed for movement analysis, performance tracking, and educational or informational use. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Practitioners are responsible for exercising professional judgment and complying with all applicable laws and standards of practice when using the Services.
